Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a trusted, widely used method for permanent hair removal. Originally developed for clinical use in the 1990s, it became available for home use in 2018, delivering salon-quality results conveniently at home.

X-360 Light™ is a refined version of traditional IPL, offering greater precision and efficiency while being safe, UV-free, and pain-free for at-home use.

1. Shave: Use the Glass Skin Shaver to trim the area to less than 3mm in length.

2. Turn On: Adjust the intensity level, starting from level 1 and increasing as needed.

3. Eye Protection: Wear Lumi Eye Shields during treatment.

4. Treat the Area: Use the flash button or automated mode. Flash each area once, then repeat with the cooling mode activated for comfort. Flash up to three times per area.

5. Turn Off: Switch off the device when not in use.

6. Aftercare: Apply a gentle lotion and sunscreen (SPF 50 or below) when exposed to sunlight.

Each area should be treated using 1-3 flashes per spot during a session. The device can be moved to the next spot after flashing, ensuring full coverage without overlapping flashes. Depending on the size of the area, treatment typically takes 5-15 minutes.

How many flashes are needed for a session?
The number of flashes varies based on the treatment area:

• Small areas (e.g., underarms, bikini line): ~10-20 flashes

• Medium areas (e.g., face, arms): ~30-50 flashes

• Large areas (e.g., legs): ~50-100 flashes

The Crystal Skin Pro™ offers 5 intensity levels, with Level 1 being the lowest and Level 5 the highest. Start with Level 1 during your first session to allow your skin to adapt. Gradually increase to higher levels in subsequent sessions as you become comfortable.

What is the recommended method to handle intensity?

• Increase the intensity if you feel little to no warmth during treatment. Higher levels offer better efficacy but should never cause discomfort.

• Decrease the intensity if you feel excessive heat, irritation, or sensitivity.

When should you adjust the intensity?

• For sensitive areas (e.g., bikini line, underarms): Use Levels 1-2 initially. Gradually increase based on comfort.

• For larger, less sensitive areas (e.g., legs): Start with Levels 2-3, then increase as your skin adjusts.

Studies have proven the safety and effectiveness of IPL for hair removal. However, IPL is unsuitable for darker skin tones or tanned skin due to higher melanin levels. Consult your doctor if you’re taking photosensitive medication or have epilepsy.

Crystal Skin Pro™ is designed to be pain-free. Users may feel a mild "rubber band snapping" sensation at higher settings, but the cooling plate soothes the skin after each flash, ensuring comfort even at higher intensity levels. Beginners should start with level 1 and gradually increase.

Crystal Skin Pro™ is safe for use on all body areas, including the bikini line and face, provided your skin tone is suitable. (Refer to the How It Works page for details.)

Areas to Avoid:

• Tattoos, large moles, and dark birthmarks

• Eye area (eyebrows, under eyes)

• Nipples and areolas

• Labia minora

• Inflamed acne

• Areas with plastic surgery

Important Notes:
